The stone, a freshwater limestone, features naturally occurring 50 million year old fossils. This unique stone is quarried from an ancient lakebed located in Southwest Wyoming, then meticulously cut, honed, and finished by our artisan craftsmen to your exact specifications. It is suitable for use in vanity tops, tile boarders, tub surrounds, showers and in flooring. Let our in-house design staff work with you to design the perfect bath.

It is a hard compact limestone with detailed fossils throughout. The stone has been sealed with a silcone-based sealer designed to protect it from stains.

This shower wall features three accent tiles containing 50 million-year-old fossil fish. The fossil stone has a "Combination" stone finish (honed tiles with the fossils in shallow relief). The fossils include six Knightia eocaena, and a large Mioplosus labracoides. The surrounding field tiles are cut from a filled travertine stone.
