Quarried from an ancient lakebed in southwestern Wyoming and restored by Green River’s artisan craftsman to reveal intricate, stunning detail, they are beautiful and unlike anything else on earth.

This fossil stone fireplace was made from large tiles in a "Combination finish", honed limestone with the fossil fish in shallow relief.

This fossil stone fireplace was made from 6" x 6" and 6" x 18" tiles in random beige tones. The fossils include a school of Knightia eocaena, that appears to be swimming across the wall. The hearth is also made from dark fossil limestone. We call this dark limestone our"Night Storm" stone layer. Note the bold horizontal lines created by the sediment layers that form the stone.
