This fossil fish mural was quarried from our “Fossil Lake” stone layer. It contains a rare 6" Phareodus testis, and a rare 10" Catkin Platycarya sp. Both fossils are exceptional in preservation and detail. The mural has soft textures and subtle color shifts. The fossils date to the Early Eocene, 50 million years old. It was unearthed from our private quarry in southwestern Wyoming, part of the Green River Formation. The mural is supplied framed in a handmade Wenge wood frame, backed in wood with a two part hanging cleat.

Our fossil murals ship fully insured against loss or damage.
