This Accent-sized fossil fish mural was quarried from our Mosaic Lake I sotne layer. A stone unique to our quarry. The stone is known for providing high- quality fossils. This is likely due to the stone's hardness and compact nature. It also features dramatic colors ranging from blue to tan with wonderful textures. The mural comes from our private quarry in Southwestern Wyoming, USA, part of the Green River Formation. The fossils date to the Early Eocene, 50-million-years-old. The mural is supplied framed in a handmade Wenge wood frame. It is backed in wood with a two-part aluminum French cleat attached for easy hanging.
All of our murals ship in custom-made wood crates, fully insured against loss or damage.
