This Collector-sized fossil fish Diptych mural was quarried from our "Fossil Lake Classic" stone layer. It offers bold textures and a variety of tan colors created by the fractured layers of limestone. The fossils include a 13" and 7" Diplomsytus dentatus, an 11-1/2" Phareodus testis, a 5- Cockerellites liops, and 5- Knightia eocaena in sizes between 5-1/2" and 7". The two stones are supplied unframed with finished beveled edges, backed in wood with a two-part aluminum French cleat on the back. The age of the fossils is 50 million years old, Early Eocene. They were unearthed from the Green River Fossil Company's private quarry, part of the Green River Formation of southwestern Wyoming.

This mural ships in a custom-made wood crate, fully insured against loss or damage.
