This irregularly shaped fossil fish mural features bright orange, brown, and beige colors. The fossils include a rare Notogoneus osculus, two Mioplosus labacoides, and four Knightia eocaena. Fossil fishes date to the Early Eocene, 50 million years old. The stone was unearthed at the Green River Fossil Company quarry in southwestern Wyoming and was prepared in our prep labs in Logan UT. The mural is backed in wood with finished beveled edges. A two-part French cleat has been added for easy hanging.
This mural ships in a custom-made wood crate, fully insured against loss or damage.
