Mural Back with two part French cleat

This Collector-size fossil fish mural features a 13-1/2" Phareodus testis, a voracious predator fish, surrounded by three Knightia eocaena. This irregularly shaped mural features subtle textures on a beige-and-gray limestone matrix. The stone was quarried from our private quarry in the Green River Formation of Southwestern Wyoming, USA. The fossils are 50 million years old.

The stone has been backed in wood, with finished beveled edges. We have added a two-part French cleat to the back for easy hanging.

Our murals ship in custom-made wood crates, fully insured against loss or damage. We are happy to provide shipping quotes.
