A dynamic tableau of prehistoric life, this fossil mural features two Diplomystus dentatus, a Priscacara serrata, and six Knightia eocaena, arranged in a beautifully balanced composition. Formed during the Early Eocene, these 50-million-year-old fish are embedded in a richly colored limestone matrix that heightens the definition and warmth of each fossil. The specimens were collected from the renowned “Mosaic Lake I” layer in our private quarry in southwestern Wyoming.
The mural is finished with a handmade Wenge wood frame and backed with wood, featuring a built-in French cleat. This mural ships in a custom wood crate, fully insured against loss or damage. It arrives ready for immediate installation.
