This horizontal mural was quarried from our "Fossil Lake Classic" stone layer. The stone matrix offers a thick layering of limestone with well-preserved fossils. The fossils include three Knightia eocaena in sizes between 5" and 7", and a 5" Cockerellites liops. The fossils date to the Early Eocene, 50 million years old. The stone was unearthed from our private quarry, part of the Green River Formation of southwestern Wyoming. This mural is supplied framed in a hand-made Wenge wood frame, backed in wood with a hanging cleat.

All of our fossil murals ship fully insured against loss or damage.
