This irregularly shaped fossil mural was quarried from a darker limestone layer that we call “Rust Lake I”. It offers unique tans and gray colors with many layers of texture. The fossil fish include two Diplomysuts dentatus, a small Cockerellites liops, and a Knightia eocenena. The age of the fossils is 50 million years, Early Eocene. The mural is backed in wood with finished beveled edges. We have attached a two-part French cleat to the back for easy hanging.
