Description: A horizontal fossil fish mural quarried from our Fossil Lake stone layer. The fossils include a large 19-1/2" Notogoneus osculus, an 11-3/4" Diplomystus dentatus, and a 5-1/4" Knightia eocaena. The simple composition is enhanced by the warm gold foreground stone color, followed by the thin layering of stone, each exhibiting subtle color differences. Discovered in the Green River Fossil Quarry, part of the Green River Formation of Southwestern Wyoming. The age of the fossils is 50 million years old.
