This irregularly shaped Accent-size fossil fish mural contains bold vertical texture and exceptionally well-preserved fossils. The stone is our "Steel Blue Lake" stone layer, a rare dark limestone. The fossils include 2- 6" Diplomystus dentatus, and a 13" Phareodus testis. The stone is backed in wood with finished beveled edges and a two-part French cleat attached to the back for easy hanging. The mural dates to the Early Eocene, 50 million years old. It was unearthed from our private quarry in southwestern Wyoming, part of the Green River Formation.

This mural ships in a custom-made wood crate, fully insured against loss or damage.
