The 50 million year old, Eocene era fossils are presented in a light beige limestone matrix. The fossils offer exceptional detail. Quarried from the Green River Fossil formation of Southwestern Wyoming.

This clean and elegant fossil mural presents two Diplomystus dentatus, a Cockerellites liops, and two Knightia eocaena. These 50 million year old, Eocene Era fossil fish flow through a textured matrix of natural, fossil-bearing limestone. The soft beige color of this natural limestone provides a perfect contrast for the rich dark hues of the fossils. This fossil-bearing stone was discovered in our quarry in southwestern Wyoming.
The mural is finished with a handmade Wenge wood frame and is backed in wood with a built-in French cleat. This mural ships in a custom wood crate, fully insured against loss or damage. It arrives ready for immediate installation.
