Description: This fossil triptych mural features a 16-1/2" Diplomystus dentatus center, surrounded by four smaller Diplomystus dentatus in sizes from 5-1/4" to 9", three Cockerellites liops measuring 5" to 5-1/4", and six Knightia eocaena measuring 4-1/2" to 6-3/4″. Quarried from our "Fossil Lake" stone layer. The mural features a flowing composition of dark brown fossil fish in a matrix of subtle beige colors and multi-layered textures.

This fossil triptych features a beautiful flow of fossil fish on a warm earth-toned matrix with bold texture: The delicate beige color of the natural limestone provides a perfect backdrop for the rich bronze hues of the fossils. These 50-million-year-old fossil fish are from the Early Eocene Era and are exquisitely preserved. We unearthed the stone from our fossil quarry in southwestern Wyoming.
The three panels in this triptych have finished beveled edges and are backed in wood with a built-in French cleat. This triptych ships in a custom wood crate, fully insured against loss or damage. It arrives ready for immediate installation.
