This Collector sized fossil mural features two large Diplomystus dentatus measuring 20-1/2' and 17". The stone was unearthed in southwestern Wyoming at the Green River Stone Company quarry. The age of the fossils is Early Eocene, 50 million years. The limestone matrix offers unique colors, textures, and remnants of other fossil fish. We have framed the mural in a light Walnut and backed it in Baltic Birch with a two-part Alder wood French cleat on the back for easy hanging.
