Description: This irregularly shaped fossil palm mural, quarried from our "Fossil Lake" stone layer, features a rare partial palm leaf Palmasites sp. measuring 28". Palm fossils are highly prized among collectors due to their rarity and the delicate graphic nature of the leaves. This example stands out for its exceptional preservation and detail, containing over 80% of the leaf intact. Discovered in our private quarry in Southwestern Wyoming, part of the Green River Formation.
