This irregularly shaped Accent mural features a 36" tall fossil palm fragment palmacites sp. in a dark limestone we call "Mosaic Lake II". Plants from the Green River Formation are considered rare. Palms found in these darker limestone layers are rarer still. The age of the fossil is 50 million years old, Early Eocene. The stone has been backed in wood with finished beveled edges. We attached a two-part French cleat to the backs for easy hanging.

We ship our murals in custom-built wood crates, fully insured against loss or damage.
