High-quality fossil plant material from the Green River Formation is exceedingly rare, and fossil palm fronds are among the most coveted for their dramatic, sculptural presence. This exquisitely preserved palm frond measures 68″ in length and is elegantly framed within a matrix of natural, fossil-bearing limestone from our fossil quarry in southwest Wyoming.
The mural is finished with a handmade Wenge wood frame and is backed in wood with a built-in French cleat. This mural ships in a custom wood crate, fully insured against loss or damage. It arrives ready for immediate installation.
