This vertical pair of Gallery sized fossil palms date to the Early Eocene, 50 million years old. They are in fact a rare positive and a negative impression of the same leaf. When unearthed, the stone split directly on the 77" palm frond revealing both positive and negative impressions. These are quite rare, typically only one impression survives the excavation and preparation of the fossil. Both sides are exceptional in preservation quality and completeness. The murals are supplied framed in a handmade Wenge wood frame, backed in wood with a two-part French cleat on the back for secure hanging.

The murals ship in custom-made wood crates, fully insured against loss or damage.
